Gemini's Embraer ERJ-145 is such a neat model. I love regional jets and it is nice to see GJ contributing on this mould and on some of the prop moulds from the golden age of aviation. There are so many details on this model that add to its desirability. Multiple antennas are on the top and bottom of the fuselage. The model has warning lights on the wings and on the fuselage. Detailed landing gear are part of this model, perfectly scaled. Landing lights on the wings and on the nose gear are marked. The colors GJ has used line up perfectly with the photo images of the aircraft. This model comes with a stand and a good one. Previous GJ stands left a lot to be desired but this fits into the bottom of the model snuggle and when put together, it didn't break the plastic connector.

Continental Express is actual name is Expressjet Airlines founded back in 1986 and started operation one year later after a merger from 4 small commuter airlines. Bar Harbor Airlines, Provincetown-Boston Airlines, Rocky mountain Air and Britt Airways. Continental Express is offering today about 1000 daily flights to over 125 cities.

This Embraer model ERJ-145LR (type E145) was produced in 2001 with C/N 145527 and delievered to Expressjet Airlines on the 7th of November 2001. It is still active under the same carrier servicing up to 6 flights daily!
