Gemini Jets gave a lot of pleasure to all collectors from down under and not just! Again very finely detailed on a metal body with quite robust turning propellers and rubber wheels which roll easily across your desk... makes you just wana go back in the age of 10! Making engine sounds with your mouth and sway that model around like a fighter plane! Once you are done kidding, you will place it with respect back into your vitrine for it to graciously consume a very decent space as it is quite small in front of your Jumbo jets yet very big due to its vivid white red contrast of Qantas' color scheme. What I would prefer is more reality on those cockpit windows.

This aircraft by De Havilland is servicing the most elite airlines across the globe. However this registration was taken for a retired Fokker F-27 belonging to TAA (Trans Australia Airlines) until July of 1984. This Dash-8-100 was built in Canada in 1984 registered servicing Air Atlantic as C-GGPJ and further one purchased by Eastern Australia Airlines on January of 1989 registered to Australia with the "VH" code.
On 2002 Qantas merged the Eastern Australian with Sunstate Airlines and Southern Australian giving this bird, the white Kangaroo livery. From 2005 on its left the Qantas group to join under new registration VH-QQB for Papua New Guinea (PNG) Airlines further on 2006 to Maroomba Airlines and finally onto Skytrans Regional on 2007 until today.
